Last Saturday we were able to attend Kylie's End of the Year Program. She has been going to a Mother's Day Out/Preschool Program at the Northwest Hills United Methodist Church. She has loved it every minute of it. She will be going there again this next year... YEAH!
The program was so cute. They sang some of their favorite songs from the year. Miki video taped the songs that Kylie participated in. The first was with all of the kids and it is called Praise the Lord. The second song was just the two classes with kids Kylie's age. They sang When I Build My House. Sorry, the video is pretty bumpy in some spots. Sadie was insisting on hanging on Miki's arm while he was trying to video. And it is cute that you can hear Sadie calling out to Kylie!
Before we went to the school, we told Kylie that she needed to sing loudly so that we could hear her and so that we could hear it on the video that we would send to her Grandmas and Grandpas. She said that she would do her best! You will see in the video that she is true to her word. You can hear Kylie above everyone else. I was actually afraid that she would have a sore throat in the morning. But it was just soooo cute!
When we got to the school, Kylie went to her classroom to prepare and we went and got seats. Kylie walked in and couldn't find us anywhere. She didn't really sing the first Good Morning song. And she looked so worried and sad. But then shortly after that song. she got a big smile on her face and our eyes met. She had found me! I blew her a kiss and she blew me a kiss back. After that she sang so well!
We are so proud of her and have loved this whole experience with her teachers, activities, and friendships at MDO.
