Zion's Canyon- July 20, 2011

We spent Sadie's 5th birthday at Zion's canyon. The pictures are in no particular order, but just some of our favorite memories of the day.

Sadie and Grandpa Martin

The girls loved these stones stacked up on top of each other. Took some people a long time to get them just right. Fun!
Kylie trying to balance on the rocks in the middle of the river without getting wet. Didn't work out, but she was happy to be wet. I think that was her hope the whole time.

All three of us trying to balance together on the rocks and keep dry. This was Sadie's favorite memory of her birthday... falling in the river and getting wet. We were laughing so hard.

Sadie taking a rest. She insisted on bringing her new Captain America shield along. We all held it for her at different parts of the hike.

Kylie posing with the shield!

Kylie enjoying the small waterfall.

Miki skipping rocks and the girls trying to copy him.

Sadie, Tovi and Kylie

The squirrels were a little too friendly for my taste, but here is Sadie getting pretty close to her new friend.

This rock formation came out over the path and the girls liked that they could walk right under it. They thought it looked like it could fall on them at any moment and so thought that they should stand there and hold it up. Super heroes in training.

The view out the top of our tour bus. I loved being in this beautiful place. How wonderful that my in-laws can live so close to Zion's and visit it often.

The birthday girl!

It has been a long time since we went to Zion's Canyon, but I remember it being very pretty! We are headed to San Antonio in July, and will definitely have to get together with you guys!
