My brother Jon and his wife Holly had a little baby boy a couple of months ago. I thought that I would try my hand at making a chenille blanket for them. My friend Kimberli had shown me how to make one awhile ago, but I didn't have a sewing machine at the time.

Luckily for me she is very organized and gave me detailed instructions including pictures of what to do. This was a huge undertaking for me since I really am not that comfortable on a sewing machine. But it was amazing how much I learned from the project. I can't wait to try again!
