Let it Snow! Again!

This is what we woke up to this morning. It has been raining nonstop since Sunday and last night it turned to snow.
We had a decent snowstorm in October (see November 18th post), and that only stuck on the roofs and mountains. This much snow is practically unheard of here. It has broken many weather records. I guess that the last time there was anywhere near this much snow was in the 1930s!
Kylie's school was delayed two hours and we used the time the best we could. We went out and built a snow man, threw snow balls, ate snow (mostly Sadie) and enjoyed every minute of it. It is actually still snowing. We have enjoyed cups of hot cocoa and baking butterscotch oatmeal cookies.
I am not a fan of cold weather and all that comes with it, but this has been a fun day so far. What makes it okay is the fact that I know that it will soon warm up again. So we can enjoy the novelty for the moment.

That's so funny that you have gotten snow down there twice, and we still haven't had any in Michigan. It can wait though!

Oh that looks like sooo much fun! I love how "warmer" places come to a stand still when a change in the weather occurs.
