Sadie's School Field Trip

The Kindergarten classes got to spend a day at a pumpkin patch and corn maze. I was glad that I got to chaperon and join her in the fun. They got to pick a pumpkin out of a huge field of rotten pumpkins that they could take home. Sadie did pretty good and hers only had one soft spot on the bottom.

Here is a picture of her class, not the best but her teacher is Mrs. Garcia on the left side and Sadie is hiding out in the middle of the pack.

Sadie's first ride on a school bus!

We got to explore the corn maze. Our group was stuck in there the longest. Everyone starting calling me on my cell phone to see if we were OK.

We saw lots of cotton fields, animals, and pecan trees. I love the pecan trees in Texas!

After the exploring and lunch, the kids jumped on a big rainbow colored bubble thingy, went down home made slides, and rode around on home made swings.

I thought they would all fall asleep in the bus on the way back to the school, but they were just too excited and had the rest of the school day to burn off all of their energy.
